Who We Are
Nursery Director
Lynette Jefferies
Started Lammas Green Nurseries in September 2009.
Lynette has worked in Early years for 30 years working in pre-schools, managing full day care nurseries and working and then opening her own site. Lynette has 3 nurseries in south east London as is just about to open her 4th. Lynette holds a level 2,3,4,5 in Early Years Education Early Years Degree along with level 3 SENCO qualification.
Area Manager
Vanessa Emburey
Vanessa has worked for Lammas Green since 2009 and has helped build and shape the curriculum and Ethos of the Lammas Green alongside Lynette. Vanessa holds a level 2 & 3 in Early years education along with a level 3 SENCO qualification. Vanessa has years of experience in managing full day settings as well as Lammas Green and has also worked as a nursery consultant for early years settings. Vanessa over sees and Manages both Horniman and Sydenham Hill along side her Deputy Managers.
Nicole Bowman
Nursery Manager
Nicole is the Manager of Twin Oaks Nursery which opened in January 2025.
Nicole previously worked for Lammas Green Nursery in Ladywell before it closed just after Covid. Nicole went on to manage another full day care nursery in south east London but came back to Manage our new site in Deptford. Nicole holds a Level 3 in Early Years Education.
Clare Matthews
Deputy Manager
Clare is the Deputy Manager of Horniman Nursery and rejoined us in September 2025.
Clare originally worked at our Sydenham Hill site in ……………. And left to expand her knowledge as a Manager running a full day care nursery in southeast London. Clare is now back with us at Horniman and overseeing the day to day running of the site. Clare holds a Level 3 in Early Years Education.
James Model
Deputy Manager
James has worked in Early Years and originally trained as a Reception Teacher. James found his passion for Early years so decided that he would like to work in a nursery while gaining his level 3 in Early Years Education. James is our Deputy Manager at our Sydenham Hill Site.
Kele-Rose Jones
Deputy Manager
Kele has worked for Lammas Green since January 2024. Kele holds a level 2 in Early Years Education and has a wealth of experience as a Room Leader when working for other full day care nurseries. Kele helps to support all 3 of our sites when Deputy Managers are off and will soon be based in our new site in SE13. Kele also holds a Level 3 in Early Years Mindfulness.
